What a Sunday Service is Like
Our Sunday gatherings are designed to help you connect with God and grow in your faith in a welcoming environment.
A typical service includes:
- Worship music
- A practical message from one of our pastors
- Opportunities to pray and respond
Services typically last about 75-90 minutes.
Come as you are — dress comfortably and bring the whole family.
What to Expect When You Arrive
If you're visiting for the first time, we want your experience to feel simple and stress-free. Here’s exactly what to do when you arrive.
Park on the North side of our parking lot near the 183rd St. Entrance.
You’ll see designated Visitor Parking spots closest to the building to make your arrival easy.
Enter through the Main Entrance under the overhang.
This entrance leads directly into the main lobby.
Once you enter the lobby, head to The Hub — the raised area to the right of the Main Entrance.
Someone from our team will greet you, answer questions, and help you find where you need to go.
We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before service begins.
If you’re checking in kids for the first time, arriving 20–25 minutes early will give you plenty of time to get them checked in and settled.
We love families, and DC Kids is designed to help children grow in their faith in a fun and engaging environment while parents attend service.
Every Sunday, kids experience interactive lessons, worship, and activities designed to help them learn about Jesus in ways they can understand and enjoy.
DC Kids is available during every Sunday service for children ages 1 year old through 5th grade.
A Safe & Welcoming Environment
Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. Our DC Kids environments are designed to be safe, secure, and welcoming for every child.
Safety practices include:
- Secure check-in and pickup procedures
- Trained volunteers who have passed background checks serving in each classroom
- Clearly designated kids' environments
Your Child’s First Visit
We know visiting a new church with kids can feel overwhelming. Our team is here to make it simple and welcoming.
Here’s what your first visit will look like:
When you arrive, head to the DC Kids check-in area and let a team member know it’s your first visit.
We’ll help you quickly register your child in our check-in system.
You’ll receive:
- A name label for your child
- A matching security pickup label for you
This helps ensure every child is picked up by the correct parent or guardian.
A DC Kids team member will escort you and your child to their classroom, introduce you to the classroom leader, and help your child get comfortable before service begins.
Once your child is settled, you can head into service knowing they’re in a safe and caring environment designed just for them.
When service ends, return to your child’s classroom and show your matching pickup label so your child can be safely released to you.
